The HumanArts series at Assumption College is happy to present an African Drumming presentation. ThisWorldMusic Founder/Director Jeremy Cohen will present a lecture and hands-on clinic on the rich drumming traditions of West Africa. Cohen is a cultural interlocutor who blends his experience as a classroom teacher, conservatory-trained musician and African adventurer, and will offer insight into the unique shared music and history between the U.S. and Ghana.
Assumption College will host the world-renowned Limburg Cathedral Boys Choir of Germany for a concert on Tuesday, October 2 at 7 p.m. in the acclaimed Jeanne Y. Curtis Performance Hall in the College’s Tsotsis Family Academic Center, 500 Salisbury Street, Worcester. The concert is free and the general public is welcome.

The Bach Consort of Worcester returns with a concert devoted entirely to the music of J. S. Bach. The concert will feature the celebrated Fifth Brandenburg Concerto with soloists Michelle Graveline, Harpsichord; Tracy Kraus, flute; and Peter Sulski, violin.
The Assumption College HumanArts series is pleased to announce an evening of poetry and prose with John Hodgen and his daughter, the novelist Christie Hodgen.
Frédéric Rivoal is an organist and harpsichordist who regularly is invited to give recitals in Europe, the United States, and Japan. He plays with a number of Baroque music ensembles and symphonic orchestras, both as soloist and continuo player.
A true champion of the classical guitar, virtuoso Eliot Fisk is recognized internationally for his unparalleled musical artistry and technical wizardry.
