The Renaissance Court at the Worcester Art Museum showcases the Museum’s significant collection of ancient Roman mosaics excavated in Antioch in the 1930s. The Worcester Hunt mosaic, the largest of its kind in America, creates the centerpiece for the magnificent Court. The 67-foot-span over the Court is reserved for an ongoing series of contemporary mural projects, this one featuring the work of British artist Julian Opie. Through the years, the Renaissance Court has been the setting for many special gatherings and festive occasions.
