On Friday, October 25th, at 12:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Holy Spirit, the Assumption community is invited to gather in quiet and prayerful reflection to remember Colleen Ritzer, Assumption class of 2011, who lost her life so tragically on Wednesday in Danvers.
This will be the final concert performance of the Assumption College Band for the school year. In addition to performing works from the major concert band repertoire the performance will be highlighted with featured performances by several instrumental ensembles and soloists.
The Assumption College Band under the direction of its conductor, Bruce Hopkins, will be performing a concert of familiar Holiday repertoire along with its regular concert selections in the Chapel of the Holy Spirit. Featured will be different instrumental ensembles as well as soloists from the Band.
The AC Chorale's annual "Sounds of the Season" concert will feature the Christmas portion of Handel's MESSIAH, plus the "Hallelujah" chorus. The concert is free and open to the public.
This event is free and open to the public. There are no reserved seats or tickets required. The doors will open at 1pm.
