There will be no services on Christmas morning.
The “Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols,” a tradition originating in nineteenth century England, has been celebrated at Assumption College as a worship service for the Advent/Christmas Season to listen to biblical readings and sing carols.

A FEAST OF BAROQUE CONCERTOS
The Bach Consort of Worcester returns to open the 2014-2015 HumanArts series with a guest artist on the bassoon, Adrian Jojatu. The Consort will also be continuing their series of concerti grossi, featuring Handel’s Concerto Grosso op. 6 no. 11, and Corelli’s Concerto Grosso op. 6 no. 9.
The Assumption College Band under the direction of its conductor, Bruce Hopkins, will be performing a concert of familiar Holiday repertoire along with its regular concert selections in the Chapel of the Holy Spirit. Featured will be different instrumental ensembles as well as soloists from the Band.
The Assumption College Chorale in the first concert of the season will present a concert of varied choral works from traditional to contemporary. The Chorale is directed by Dr. Michelle Graveline and accompanied by Mr. Ian Watson.
The Assumption College Band under the direction of its conductor, Bruce Hopkins, will be performing its first concert of the school year in the Chapel of the Holy Spirit. Featured will be works from the concert band repertoire from many different centuries.
