Abstract Instructions

Deadline for Abstract submission -

Abstracts should be no longer than 200 words and should summarize the work to be presented in a manner appropriate to the particular field of study. Presenters are strongly encouraged to seek the assistance of their faculty mentor in preparing their abstract. Abstracts will be read by a panel of faculty prior to publication.

Put all pertinent information in the space provided.   All abstracts will be reviewed.  Presenters are encouraged to seek assistance from faculty mentors during abstract preparation.  See example below for title, authors, and department(s).  Title should be in capital letters and author's name(s) and affiliation underlined.  Abstracts should be no longer than 200 words.

EXAMPLE:
Transcription-coupled repair of UV-induced damage in the extremely halophilic archaeon, Halobacterium sp. NRC-1, Jane Doe, Natural Sciences Department. Exposure of cells to ultraviolet light (UV) results in damage to their genome, mutations, and cell death.  Nucleotide excision repair (NER) occurs in the Bacteria and Eukarya and is responsible for repair of UV damage as well as other DNA lesions. Etc.
