Family Weekend is a three-day string of festivities which takes place during the fall of every year at Assumption. AC students' families get to spend time at the campus for various festivities including lectures, comedians, musical acts, football games, 5-k road races, carnivals, masses, and meals at the dining hall. Because it's such a huge event, there are three executives in charge: Entertainment, Theme, and Registration. It's the students' opportunity to give their parents and other relatives a glimpse into the college life while enjoying the variety of activities planned. Get involved with this committee and help organize one of the largest and most popular weekends at AC.
Family Weekend 2007 was a great success! Family Weekend 2008 Executives will be chosen sometime in the Spring 2008 semester, and then the subcommittee will begin meeting in the Fall 2008 semester. For more information, talk to any of the current/former Family Weekend executives and/or attend the Siblings Weekend subcommittee!
