Tracey received her bachelor's
degree in business administration from Babson College
in Wellesley, Massachusetts and then her master's degree
in Student Personnel Services with a minor in Counseling
Psychology from the University of South Carolina, Columbia.
Tracey worked extensively in alcohol and drug education
at the University of South Carolina and also served as
both a Resident Assistant and Resident Director at Babson
College. |
After completing her graduate degree, Tracey
worked at Worcester Polytechnic Institute and Dean College.
She has extensive experience in Greek Life, first-year experience,orientation
and student activities. Tracey is a BASICS practitioner who
focuses on alcohol and other drug assessment. She counsels
students who have questions about the role that alcohol and
other drugs play in their college lives. Other areas of counseling
interest include smoking cessation, on-line addictions (including
gambling, gaming and pornography) and children from alcoholic
families. She is also available for personal counseling on
any issue.
Tracey advises the peer education group
called Students for Safe Choices in addition to chairing the
campus/community coalition known on campus as the Greyhound
Alcohol Partnership (GAP). Tracey has made both of these initiatives
possible through a grant from the Department of Juvenille
Justice through the Governor's Highway Safety Bureau, a program
of the Executive Office of Public Safety authored in 2006.
