"1 Shots"

- 7th - Girls C.H.O.I.C.E. College Night
Girls in 7th and 8th grade will have the opportunity to experience a college fair. The purpose is to get these girls to think about going to college and to show them that they have the ability to attend. Student volunteers will be needed to talk about their college experience.
- 8th - Comfort Shawls Due
In this program, students have the opportunity to knit a shawl that will be donated to terminally ill patients in Worcester. Inexperienced knitters can learn how to knit through instructional programs run through the Reach Out Center. This past year, 45 shawls were donated.
- 13th - Valentines for Veterans
Join other Assumption students in making Valentines Day cards that will be donated to the local Veteran's shelter.
- 14th - Comfort Shawl Reception- During this event the comfort shawls that had been made are displayed and a reception is held.
- 23rd - WHA Adopt-A-Property
This is a program done with the Worcester Housing Authority. Student volunteers will go into the community and put on a program that may include ceramics, board games or card games.
- 25th - Cell Phone Drive Begins
In this "One Shot", students donate their old cell phones, which will be given to victims of domestic violence for emergency purposes.

- 5th Annual- Scrabble Tournament to Benefit Literacy Volunteers of America
This Scrabble tournament will help to raise money for the Literacy Volunteers of America
- 12th - WHA Adopt-A-Property
This is a program done with the Worcester Housing Authority. Student volunteers will go into the community and put on a program that may include ceramics, board games or card games.
- 18th - 20th Rebuilding Together Worcester
Join other students in spending the day painting, hammering and fixing housing for the low-income homeowners, particularly elderly and those with disabilities in Worcester.

- 7th - 12th - Food Drive
Don't throw away that food! For this "One Shot", the ROC collects non-perishable food that students donate before moving out at the end of the year.
