The Office of Judicial Affairs strives to establish an environment that promotes individual responsibility and encourages honesty, integrity, and a mutual respect for the members of the community. Assumption College expects the members of this voluntary community to conduct themselves in a manner that reflects its Christian values.

Supporting the College’s and the Division of Student Life’s mission statements, we seek to promote the development of the ‘whole person’ by:

• increasing the awareness of the community’s expectations of behavior;
• holding students accountable for violations of these expectations in a fair and consistent manner;
• developing educational sanctions that encourage self-reflection and critical thinking to assist students in growing.

We strive to help students recognize that the choices they make have immediate and potentially long-term consequences to the achievement of their goals.
