Emergency Services & Off Campus Care

Any emergency occurring on the Campus should be referred immediately to Public Safety (508-767-7777). Public Safety is the emergency services coordinator on campus. All Officers are trained as First Responders. Transportation to a local hospital will be arranged or an ambulance will be directed to campus. Call 911 for all off-campus emergencies.

Health Care Options for Students:

There are a number of pharmacies, urgent care facilities, and emergency rooms located near camps. Click here to find the most recent updates to these services.

Emergency Rooms:

There are two emergency rooms within 15 minutes of campus. Emergency rooms are for urgent, life threatening medical emergencies. They can also be a resource for when both Student Health Services and the local urgent walk in centers are closed.

Urgent Care and Walk-In Clinics

There are two walk-in care clinics within a short drive from campus. These clinics are appropriate for minor illnesses and injuries that require medical attention but are not life threatening. Each offers access to physicians, specialists, nursing care, laboratory and x-ray services.

No-Cost Cab Service for Immediate Medical Needs:

Students who need to access immediate medical services (that are not emergencies) such as urgent care facilities or pharmacies and do not have any means of transportation.
