A close learning community shares the Rome experience, living, studying and traveling together in a transformative adventure. Guided by Assumption faculty members in a variety of fields, students grow both personally and intellectually, gaining a greater understanding of the world around them.
Program Highlights
A comprehensive orientation prior to departure prepares students to fully take advantage of the program.
A variety of liberal arts courses will be offered each semester. Course offerings may include History, Art History, Theology, Philosophy, Comparative Literature, Italian, and others.
All courses count towards general education requirements
The campus is located just outside the Parco Doria Pamphili, a 25-minute walk from the center of Rome and close to public transportation.
All students enroll in a course in Italian language and culture.
State-of-the-art classroom facilities.
Faculty-led trips into Rome’s important cultural centers and other places of interest across Italy.
Cost
Assumption students: Accepted students make a $650 deposit that is applied to the costs of the program. Tuition, room and board is the same as the Assumption home campus, and your Assumption financial aid applies to this program. For the 2013-14 academic year:
Students pay for their own round-trip flight, which will be organized by the Program Director.
