A Roman Excursion for Alumni & Friends: May 30 to June 8, 2017

“The Eternal City,” Rome, is a treasure of art, culture and history – a place where the foundations of Western Civilization were built. Against this rich backdrop, Assumption College has created a unique excursion for alumni and friends’ academic and cultural pursuits that takes advantage of all that Rome has to offer. The recently renovated Rome Campus provides visitors an opportunity to immerse themselves in the Italian – and distinctly Roman – culture woven into the fabric of the city. From art to history to politics, the ancient ruins and the breathtaking architecture, alumni will gain a deeper understanding of the world in which they live, its ancient and modern origins and come to appreciate authentic Italian food, including the infamous Italian gelato.
