STUDENT RESEARCH

A growing number of Assumption students have been accepted into prestigious summer research programs at major research institutions around the country. The sponsoring institutions for this research include the National Science Foundation, the National Institutes of Health, the American Cancer Society, and the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. In 1991, Assumption began its own research program on campus, in which upper-level students may assist Assumption faculty with their research projects. Students may apply for summer research positions, which include a stipend and housing on campus.
