Worcester, MA- A Science Olympiad meet will be held this Saturday, November 20, at Assumption College in the Lt. Joseph P. Kennedy Science building.
Students at the Olympiad will participate in four events, including Battery Buggy, Bio-Process Lab, Metric Mastery, and Science of Fitness. The events are being run by Assumption students and faculty, and by students from the UMass Medical Center.
There will be teams of students attending from around the state,
including
local teams from Shrewsbury and the Plumley Village after school
program.
The UMass Med students and the Plumley Village team are participating
through the Worcester Pipeline Collaborative.
Approximately 65 students from seven schools will be competing.
