Thursday, April 22 at 4:00 P.M., Professor Jeremy Black of the University
of Exeter will be lecturing in the Salon of the La Maison Francaise on the
subject of "Why Wars Happen."
Professor Black is a prolific writer and editor with over 27 books and numerous other publications to his credit. The American public may know him best as one of the commentators on the PBS television series "Liberty."
This lecture, which is jointly sponsored by the Peace and Justice Committee,
the Student Government Association and the Department of History, is free
and open to the public.
