"The Relation between Religion and Public Life," a lecture by Peter L Berger, will be held at Assumption College, in the Marriott Room, in Taylor Dining Hall, Monday, March 22, 1999, at 4:00 p.m.
Peter L. Berger is a distinguished social theorist, scholar and author. He is a professor and director of the Institute for the Study of Economic Culture at Boston University. His many books include Invitation to Sociology, A Rumor of Angels, Facing up to Modernity, and The Capitalist Revolution.
The lecture is ponsored by the Office of Academic Affairs, The Department of Political Science and the Institute on Democracy, Law and Faith.
