Students Awarded at Honors Convocation

—Assumption College held its annual Honors Convocation on April 20, 2006, in the Chapel of the Holy Spirit. Departmental academic awards were presented to undergraduates and members of the Class of 2006 for the 2005–2006 school year.

Graveline to Conduct Mozart Requiem

—Professor Michelle Graveline will conduct the critically acclaimed Salisbury Singers, a Worcester-based mixed chorus of more than 80 members, as they travel through Worcester County to give two performances of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Requiem Mass.

Men's Tennis Wins 100th Consecutive Northeast-10 Match

—The Assumption College men's tennis team won its 100th consecutive Northeast-10 Conference match 9-0 over Stonehill on April 17. The Greyhounds also won their eighth straight Northeast-10 Conference Championship.
CE Honors Alpha Sigma Lambda Inductees

Peter Clemente Releases New Guitar Album

Chris Colabello '05 Signs with Detroit Tigers

—Baseball standout Chris Colabello '05 has signed a minor league contract with the Detroit Tigers. Colabello was a key player for the 2005 Can-Am League Champion Worcester Tornadoes last summer.

Assumption Baseball Team Heads South on Allegiant Air

The team flew out of Worcester Airport on Thursday, March 2, 2006 on Allegiant Air, the newest carrier at the regional airport.

Students Help Produce Video for Worcester Housing Authority

Learning Ancient Greek in 50 Minutes

Matysiak, Marcoccio Named All-Americans
