Worcester Houses Featured in Exhibit at Assumption College

Worcester, MA—On Tuesday, October 16, 2001, Arnold Edinberg, a Worcester native, will give the opening lecture titled "These Old Houses" for the second in the Emmanuel d’Alzon Library Art Exhibit series.

Mr. Edinberg will discuss why he chose to paint a number of portraits of Worcester homes without the owner’s knowledge. Over 15 portraits of homes, including some from the Beeching Street, Pleasant Street, and Elm Park area will be on display. Owners of the properties have been notified that their homes will be featured in this exhibit.

The gallery talk and opening reception will take place at 4:00 p.m. in the Emmanuel d'Alzon Library, 500 Salisbury Street, Worcester, MA. The exhibit will be on display until November 9, 2001 and is free and open to the public. For hours of the gallery, please call (508) 767-7272.
