Assumption College Athletes to Decorate Teddy Bears being sent to Victims of WTC Attack

Worcester, MA— athletes will be on hand tomorrow night at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish (1295 Grafton Street, Worcester) to tie a ribbon and a poem on many of the hundreds of teddy bears they collected over the last two weeks.
Our Lady of the Lourdes organized an effort to collect enough teddy bears to send to the children whose parents were victims of the WTC attack on September 11. athletes took the challenge to collect new teddy bears and were able to donate 571 bears toward the goal.
At 6:45 p.m. on Thursday, October 19, Assumption College Athletes will return to Our Lady of Lourdes Parish to complete the task by giving each bear a ribbon and poem.
