LOCAL POETS TO READ AT ASSUMPTION COLLEGE



Worcester, MA- As part of College’s fall reading series, poets Stephen Campiglio and David Thoreen will read selections from their works on Friday, September 21 at 7 p.m. in the Emmanuel d'Alzon Library.
Campiglio is a former editorial assistant at Assumption College and now teaches English at Holy Name High School in Worcester. He is a graduate of Worcester State College and has his Master's in education from Assumption. His poetry has appeared in various magazines, including The Literary Review, Northeast Corridor, and Asylum.
David Thoreen is an associate professor of English at Assumption College. He is also a member of the board at the Worcester County Poetry Association.
The fall reading series takes place on the third Friday of every month. The events are free and open to the public.
