"Emerging Patterns of Race and Ethnicity in 21st Century America" lecture at Assumption College
Worcester, MA—Assumption College is pleased to present "Emerging Patterns of Race and Ethnicity in 21st Century America," a lecture by Dr. Orlando Patterson, on Monday, February 4, 2002 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hagan Campus Center Hall.
Dr. Patterson is the John Cowles Professor of Sociology at Harvard University and the author of many books, including "Rituals of Blood: Consequences of Slavery in Two American Centuries." His lecture kicks off a three-day teach-in on Racial and Ethnic diversity co-sponsored by the Sociology Department and the Diversity Committee at Assumption College. The teach-in is part of Assumption College’s celebration of Black History Month.
