Assumption College and Jewish Family Services to Hold Family Fun Day
Worcester, MA—Assumption College will host a Family Fun Day on Saturday, January 19, 2002 for members of the Jewish Family Services/Metrowest’s (JFS/MW) adoption families. The event will take place in the Plourde Recreation Center from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and will include swimming, soccer, toddler aerobics, pizza, board games, and a pajama party.
Assumption student leaders from the Student Government Association and Residential Life will be volunteering at the event by supervising activities, organizing and participating in tournaments, magic tricks, games, and arts and crafts. The Adoption Choices program helps couples and individuals realize their dreams of building a family. Experienced and caring social workers help parents explore their options through traditional, parent identified, open, and international adoptions.
Jewish Family Service of Metrowest is a non-profit organization founded in 1979 to strengthen and build community through a wide array of social services for families and individuals of all races, religions, and backgrounds.
