Assumption College to Hold a Mock Trial

Worcester, MA—The Center for Continuing Education at Assumption College will be holding a mock trial on Monday, March 25, 2002 at 6:30 pm in the Auditorium of La Maison Francaise.

The theme for the Mock Criminal Trial is “Possession. Assault and Battery. DUI.” Among the many real-life criminal justice professionals who will be present are the Honorable David P. Despotopulus ’80 and District Attorneys James R. Lemire ’76 and Richard Greco. At the trial, students and other guests will be presented with a realistic courtroom situation and have the opportunity to watch as the criminal justice system operates to apprehend and bring to justice the criminals in this case. The trial is intended for those interested in the field of law, law enforcement, or criminal justice, but it is open for anyone who would like to attend.
