Blue Funk and Tomo Fujita

Worcester, MA—HUMANARTS presents Blue Funk with Tomo Fujita in concert, Thursday, April 11, 2002, at 8:00 pm in the Hagan Campus Center Hall.

Fujita mixes deep blues, be-bop jazz and acid funk to create his own unique sound that matches his flamboyant personality. His debut CD "Put on Your Funk Face" displays his original compositions that demonstrate the diversity of his influences. Blue Funk is Fujita’s band of colleagues from Berklee College of Music, where he is an associate professor.
