Poetry Reading at Assumption College

Worcester, MA—The d’Alzon Arts Series presents poet James Beschta and student poets from The Phoenix, Assumption’s student literary journal.

Beschta is a 1972 graduate of Assumption who teaches English and Writing at Quabbin High School in Barre and at the Worcester Art Museum. He has won several poetry prizes including the Promethean Lamp Poetry Award and he is the co-author of the anthology, Bone Cages.

The event will also showcase the works of some student poets who have been in The Phoenix, Assumption College’s literary journal. The event is free and open to the public.
