Public Invited to Submit Comments for Assumption College Reaccreditation

Worcester, MAŅAssumption College is undergoing renewal of its reaccreditation by the Commission on Institutions of Higher Education (CIHE) of the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC). A team representing the commission will visit the Assumption College campus April 1-4, 2001. Assumption received its initial accreditation from the commission in 1949. The College was last reviewed in 1991. Accreditation is voluntary, non-governmental, and self-regulatory. It serves the dual purposes of quality assurance and quality improvement. The public is invited to submit written comments on substantive matters by April 4.
