ASSUMPTION COLLEGE ANNOUNCES THE APPOINTMENT
OF A NEW DIRECTOR OF GRANTS

 

Worcester, MA---Assumption College recently announced the appointment of Dr. Mary Jane Rein as its first Director of Grants. In this newly created position, Dr. Rein will work with faculty and the Offices of Academic Affairs and Institutional Advancement to seek external funding for faculty and academic initiatives.

Dr. Rein's most recent position was as Assistant Director at the Worcester Historical Museum, where she assisted in the organization's grant writing. In addition to this experience, she has also worked on grants as an adminstrator for the American Research Institute in Turkey, and as an independent consultant for the Jewish Federation of Central Massachusetts and for the Preservation Worcester Capital Campaign.

Dr. Rein holds two degrees in Classical Archeology: a B.A. from Bryn Mawr College, and a doctorate Harvard University. She began her new position at Assumption College this month.
