Assumption College Presents Fitchburg Native with the Outstanding Achievement Award

Worcester, MA- The Honorable Judge Andre A. Gelinas '60 of (689 High Rock Rd.) Fitchburg, MA, received the 2000 Outstanding Achievement Award from Assumption College at its recent Reunion Weekend. Judge Gelinas, Associate Justice of Appeals Court, has broad vision, untiring energy, skillful mediation, and is a valued counselor of Bar and Bench. Judge Gelinas is also an outstanding community leader in the fields of art, education, and medical care.

The Assumption College Outstanding Achievement Award is given to an Alumnus/Alumna who has demonstrated exceptional achievement in his/her chosen field or interest. Qualifications for this award include, but are not limited to, outstanding leadership skills, community service, business acumen, preeminence in teaching or research, and/or entrepreneurship.
