Assumption College Professor to be Featured on CBS's
"The Early Show with Bryant Gumbel and Jayne Clayson"

Professor Thomas Boone to appear live tomorrow morning

Worcester, MA-Assumption College has just received final word that one of its Professors, R. Thomas Boone, Assistant Professor of Psychology, will be appearing live on the national CBS morning show, "The Early Show with Bryant Gumbel and Jayne Clayson." The live interview is scheduled to take place in the New York studios at 8:19 a.m. tomorrow morning, Thursday, September 14.

Professor Boone will be featured because of his use of the CBS TV hit "Survivor" in his classroom instruction. This semester, Professor Boone will be utilizing various aspects of the show to illustrate the phenomenon of social psychology and to demonstrate certain social dilemmas. A press release indicating the use of the show is attached.

CBS film crews will be at Assumption College today (September 13) to film parts of his Social Psychology class. Clips of the film will be shown during the live interview tomorrow morning.
