Assumption College Band to Present Christmas Concert

November, 2003- Assumption College is pleased to announce that the Assumption College Band will be performing its annual Christmas Concert on December 7, 2003 at 3:00 p.m. in the Richard and Janet Testa Science Center Atrium.

The band, conducted by Director Bruce Hopkins, will feature collections such as Bernstein’s “West Side Story” and Curnow’s “Canticle” with Andrew Tomaski, class of 2006, as clarinet soloist. The concern will conclude with several pieces of the Holiday season including “White Christmas” with Kerrianne Rondeau, class of 2006,as vocal soloist. Also, the newly formed Assumption College Jazz Group will be playing its premiere performance at this concert. The Jazz Group will be playing “A Nightingale Sang in Barkley Square.”
