HUMANARTS Presents Jeffrey Thompson, Poet and Nature Writer Worcester, MA (October 3, 2006) - Assumption College HUMANARTS presents Jeffrey Thompson, poet and nature writer on Wednesday, October 11 at 7:30 p.m. in the La Maison Francaise Salon. Thompson is the author of three collections of poetry: The Halo Brace; The Country of Lost Sons; and Renovation. He has also written numerous essays on travel and the environment. He has taught at Emporia State University, Whitman College, and Chatham College, where he is assistant professor of English and director of the Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing program.
