Lecture with Dan Shaughnessy and Stan Grossfeld, “Spring Training”

March, 2004—Assumption College's Student Government Association will be sponsoring a lecture, “Spring Training” with Dan Shaughnessy and Stan Grossfeld. This event will take place on April 1, 2004, at 7:00 p.m. in the Hagan Campus Center.

Dan Shaughnessy has been named Massachusetts Sportswriter of the Year several times, and has also been voted one of America’s top ten sports columnists by Associated Press Sports Editors. His works include Curse of the Bambino and Fenway: A Biography in Words and Pictures, a bestseller he co-wrote with Stan Grossfeld.

Stan Grossfeld has been awarded the Pulitzer Prize twice for his photojournalism in Ethiopia, United States-Mexico Border, and in Lebanon. In addition to Fenway: A Biography in Words and Pictures, his works include Our Forgotten Children and The Whisper of Stars: A Siberian Journey.
