Sorenson to Present Fr. Ernest Fortin, A.A. Lecture

L.R. SorensonWorcester, MA - Dr. L.R. Sorenson, professor of Political Science at Assumption College, will present the Fr. Ernest Fortin, A.A. Lecture on Monday, April 3 at 3:30 p.m. in the Emmanuel d’Alzon Library. The topic of Sorenson's lecture will be “The Letter to Geneva: The Key to J.J. Rousseau’s Political Philosophy."

Sorenson is the author of Anastaplo on American Constitutions as Texts: on 'One Hard Nut to Crack' (Rowan and Littlefield, 1998); Madison on Sympathy, Virtue and Ambition in the Federalist Papers (Polity, 1995); and "Leo Strauss, the Bible and Political Philosophy" (Leo Strauss: Political Philosopher and Jewish Thinker. Eds. Deutch and Nicyorski. Rowan and Littlefield, 1994).
