HUMANARTS Presents Novelist Bill Roorbach
Worcester, MA - Assumption College HUMANARTS presents novelist and essayist Bill Roorbach on Tuesday, February 21 at 7:00 p.m. in the La Maison Francaise salon.
Roorbach’s works consist of both books and short stories. His books include: Temple Stream: A Rural Odyssey; A Place on Water; Into Woods; The Smallest Cover; Big Bend; Summers with Juliet; Writing Life Stories: How to Make Memories into Memoirs, Ideas into Essays and Life into Literature; and Contemporary Creative Nonfiction: The Art of Truth.
He has served as the William H.P. Jenks Chair in Contemporary American Letters at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester since the fall of 2004. Roorbach has also taught at the University of Maine at Farmington and Ohio State University, where he won tenure and edited the Sandstone Prize in Short Fiction.
