Puppies Come to Assumption
College
January, 2004—Assumption
College held a “puppy petting” fundraiser on Friday, January 30,
2004 to help raise money for NEADS, the National Education for Assistance Dog
Services. NEADS is a non-profit organization located in Princeton, MA. It trains
and provides dogs to deaf and physically disabled people for assistance at home,
work or school. Most of the dogs in their program are rescued or donated to
the program.
