Assumption Calendar of Events

Assumption Presents Lecture with Author Grace Paley

March, 2005—Assumption College presents a lecture with author Grace Paley on Thursday, March 17, 2005 at 7:30 p.m. in Hagan Campus Center Hall.

Paley, a former New York State Author (1986-1988), is a widely celebrated and recognized writer. The first recipient of the Edith Wharton Citation of Merit, Paley is the author of several acclaimed fiction collections, including The Little Disturbances of Man (1959), Enormous Changes at the Last Minute (1974), and Later the Same Day (1985). Paley is also known for her activism in feminist, anti-war, and anti-nuclear movements.
