HUMANARTS Presents Opera Gala III Worcester, MA (September 5, 2006) - Assumption College HUMANARTS presents “Opera Gala III” on Saturday, September 9 at 8:00 p.m. at Tuckerman Hall, located at 10 Tuckerman Street. The event features five soloists: sopranos Jane Shivick and Diana McVey; mezzo-soprano Valerie Nicolosi; tenor Ray Bauwens; and baritone Bryan McNeil. Pianist Olga Rogach will also accompany the group. The program will include arias and ensembles from Carmen and The Pearl Fishers by Bizet; La Traviata and Rigoletto by Verdi; The Sorcerer by Gilbert and Sullivan; Die Fledermaus by Johann Strauss; Lakme by Delibes; Cosi fan tutte, The Marriage of Figaro, and The Magic Flute by Mozart; La Boheme and Tosca by Puccini; and Der Rosenkavalier by Richard Strauss.
