Assumption College and Massachusetts Society for the
Prevention of Cruelty to Children to Host Child Safety Event
March, 2004—Assumption College is collaborating with
the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (MSPCC),
for a child-safety event in the Plourde Recreational Center, on Sunday, March
28, 2004 from 1:00-3:00 p.m.
Children are invited to participate in a mini-clinic with the
Assumption College basketball team, and each child will receive a safety kit
with their photo and fingerprints, prepared by the Molly Bish Foundation. This
event is designed to kick off the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of
Cruelty to Children—Worcester Region's annual Blue Ribbon Campaign. The
MSPCC and their partners aim to help protect children from the abuse and neglect
that impact over 100,000 children in Massachusetts each year.
This event is free and open to the public. Please contact Lynn Cummins at the
MSPCC at (508) 767-3080 with any questions.
