Assumption College Presents Poetry Reading With Michael Milligan; Student Poets

April, 2004—Assumption College's d'Alzon Library Art Series presents a poetry reading with Michael Milligan, a local poet, and featured student poets from the Phoenix, Assumption's official literary magazine, on April 16, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. in the d'Alzon Library.

Milligan is the co-founder of Poetry Oasis, an organization that fosters a community of writing that furthers the historical heritage of Worcester poetry and provides a local venue for Worcester poets. His works have been published in several publications, including The Paterson Literary Review, The McGuffin, and The International Poetry Journal.

The Phoenix is the official literary magazine of Assumption College, published annually in the spring. The journal features poetry, short fiction, essays, and artwork contributed by Assumption students.
