Assumption to host Light the Night Walk
The Light the Night Walk is a fundraiser that provides community members with the opportunity to raise money to fight blood related cancers. Funds raised will support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s mission to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and to improve the quality of life of patients and their families. Walkers each carry illuminated balloons, white balloons signifying survivors and red representing supporters, as they follow the designated route around the Salisbury Street area of Worcester. Registration will be held between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 pm outside the Hagan Campus Center on the evening of the walk.
