Paul Hollander to Lecture on Violence in Communist States
Worcester, MA - Paul Hollander will deliver a lecture entitled, “Violence of Higher Purpose: The Experience of Communist States,” on Monday, April 10, 2006 at 4:00 p.m. in the Marriott Room of Taylor Dining Hall.
Hollander is a renowned expert on comparative genocide and totalitarianism and is the editor of an important new anthology titled From the Gulag to the Killing Fields: Personal Accounts of Violence and Repression in Communist States. This lecture, whch is free and open to the public, is sponsored by the Political Science Department.
