Assumption College Presents d’Alzon Chair Lecture with Dr. Warren Murray

April, 2004—Assumption College is proud to present an Emmanuel d’Alzon Chair Lecture with Dr. Warren Murray, visiting chair in Philosophy. This event will take place on Tuesday, April 13, 2004 at 4:00 p.m. in the Testa Science Center, room 006.

The title of the lecture is “Great Books and a Liberal Arts Education,” and will address the definition of a “great book,” the principal purpose of these books in a liberal arts education, and the possibility of including works of science in a liberal arts education.
