Poetry Oasis presents the Poetry of Gertrude Halstead Worcester, MA (October 19, 2006) — Poetry Oasis will present “memories like burrs,” the Poetry of Gertrude Halstead on Thursday, October 26, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. in the La Maison Francaise Auditorium. The event is a live showcase of Halstead’s poetry and her life as a Holocaust survivor. The readings, to be performed by local actors, will be set to an original music score created for the performances by local composer Mauro DiPasquale. Donation suggested: $5; students and seniors $3.
