LePain to Present Foundations Faculty Lecture

Worcester, MA (September 19, 2006) - Marc LePain, professor of Theology at Assumption, will present the Fall 2006 Foundations Faculty Lecture, "ReViewing Laocoön," on Thursday, September 21 at 3:30 p.m. in the Emmanuel d’Alzon Library.

This lecture celebrates the 500th anniversary of the rediscovery of this classical statue, commenting both on the work itself and on the reflections on the relation between poetry and sculpture that it has stimulated in G. Lessing and Goethe. This event is free and open to the public.
