Students
and Faculty Pair for Summer Scientific Research Endeavors
July,
2005—This summer, three inquisitive and driven science majors
have taken the opportunity to partner with Assumption's Natural Sciences faculty
to complete groundbreaking research projects. Kristin Doucet '07,
Eliana Tabares '07, and Chris Zoto '06 were
chosen on the basis of their excellent academic performance and scientific interest
to participate in Assumption's summer research program, which began in 1991.
This is the second summer that Assumption student researchers have been able
to utilize the state-of-the-art equipment and resources of the Testa Science
Center, which opened in the fall of 2003.
