Education Center Presents Employment Law Seminars

2005—The Corporate
Education Center at Assumption College will present two seminars
on the latest changes in key employment laws, designed for professionals
in the fields of law or human resources. These seminars will be
run in cooperation with Worcester law firm Mirick O’Connell
and the Human Resources Management Association (HRMA) of Central
Massachusetts.
The first seminar, entitled The National Labor Relations Act,
The Family & Medical Leave Act, and The Americans with Disabilities
Act, will take place on Thursday, March 31, 2005, from 6:00
p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The second seminar, The Fair Labor Standards Act and Harassment
Issues in the Workplace, will take place on Thursday, April
7, 2005, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The registration deadline for these seminars is March 23, 2005.
The cost is $25.00 per seminar, plus a $5.00 registration fee.
