Arts Series: Poetry Reading with Janet Shainhait and John Hodgen

College's d'Alzon Arts Series presents a reading with poets Janet
Shainheit and John Hodgen on Friday, February 18, 2005 at 7:00 p.m.
in the Emmanuel d'Alzon Library.
Janet Shainheit, the library director at Worcester Academy, is an
avid poet who has been published in the Worcester Review, the
Larcom Review, and Diner. She has won prizes in the
WCPA Poetry Contest and the Worcester Magazine Poetry Contest.
John Hodgen, a lecturer of English at Assumption College, is the
author of "In My Father's House", the winner of the 1993
Bluestem Award from Emporia State University in Kansas, and "Bread
Without Sorrow" (2001). His work has been included in several
anthologies, and he has won several prizes for his poetry, the most
recent being the Emily Dickinson Award from Universities West Press
in 2001.
