Assumption Hosts First-Ever Cookie Swap and Contest
Worcester, MA - The first-ever "Faculty, Staff, Administrator Cookie Swap and Contest" was held on Wednesday, December 21 in the Hagan Campus Center Hall.
Co-sponsored by Student Activities and Human Resources, the event showcased the finest holiday treats cooked up by Assumption's faculty, staff and administrators. Those in attendance had a chance to sample and judge the wide array of culinary delights which included a chocolate fountain, ginger bread houses, ginger bread men, rum balls, chocolate chip cookies and various other selections. Competition among the contestants was fierce, especially with "chef" Mark Bilotta of the Betty Crocker Institute on hand to scout aspiring dessert masters.
After a long and closely contested race, the following awards were announced as a result of the final ballot tally.
