Chorale Concert: April 17, 2005 April,
2005—Assumption College presents a concert with the
Chorale, the college’s concert choir, on Sunday, April 17,
2005, at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Holy Spirit.
Directed by Michelle Graveline, the Chorale will perform music from
the Renaissance to the present day, including selections from Byrd,
Lasso, Victoria, Bach, Bruckner, Orff, as well as arrangements of
spirituals. This concert will also be a preview of the music the
Chorale will perform on their upcoming concert tour to Greece in
May.
The Chorale traveled to Rome in 1992 to perform a concert for Pope
John Paul II. In light of the Pope's recent death, the Chorale will
perform selected pieces from the 1992 concert at the April 17, 2005
