Chorale To Perform At American Choral Directors Association Collegiate Festival

February, 2005—
The Assumption College Chorale, directed by Professor Michelle Graveline, will be performing at the Collegiate Chorale Festival sponsored by the Massachusetts ACDA (American Choral Directors Association), on Saturday, February 12, 2005 at 7:30 p.m.

Singers from 10 colleges and universities will gather on the Regis College campus in Weston, MA for an all-day festival culminating in a 7:30 pm concert, which is open to the public. Each year, the event is organized around the theme: "Collaboration Rather than Competition."

The concert will feature brief performances by individual choirs, after which the combined groups of 225 singers, the Smith College Orchestra, and virtuoso pianist Wanda Paik (celebrating her 25th year at Regis) will perform the great Beethoven Choral Fantasie. Participating choirs include Regis College, Simmons College, Assumption College, Brandeis University, Suffolk University, Bridgewater State College, Smith College, Anna Maria College, College of the Holy Cross, and Northeastern University.

For tickets, please call the Regis College Box Office: 781-768-8326. Tickets are $15.00 for the general public and $10.00 for seniors.
